Each and every herb has its own unique spiritual meaning. These meanings have become herb lore throughout ancient times and across many different cultures. They each radiate at their own unique energy vibration and as a result, they will add to any spiritual purpose you do. Each Herb, Wood or Resin can be used individually or combined to make your own special incense. Where possible our herbs and resins are organic but this is specified in the herbal description.

Herbal incense is burnt using charcoal blocks. If you have never used a charcoal block before simply grab a bowl and fill it with sand, salt or earth. (This will help absorb the heat of the charcoal block) then hold the charcoal block with a pair of tweezers/kitchen tongs and light before placing it in the bowl. Light in a well ventilated area as in the first 2 seconds there is a lot of smoke then nothing until you put the incense on the block. Then simply add as much incense as you desire. Some herbs such as Frankincense will rise up like stick incense does while others herbs such as sage will create a smudging smoke, which is great for removing negative energy. The charcoal block will eventually just burn itself out.
